Young Peoples' Vision Conference
- Date: December 2007
Walking with Robots, in partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering and the London Engineering Project, hosted a Young Peoples' Vision Conference. The conference provided 45 post-16 students from a number of schools in the London area with a unique opportunity to explore visions of their future and the part robots will play.
Robot Garden
- Date: October 2007
Claire Rocks and Emily Dawson joined teacher, Mark Harmsworth, and 25 Year 8 and 9 pupils at Rhosnesni High School in Wrexham to build a Robot Garden.
Cardiff Children's Festival
- Date: July 2007
Network members, Dave Barnes, Ashley Green and Claire Rocks all attended the TESCO Cardiff Children's Festival 2007, the theme of which was "Walking with Robots".
Edinburgh Festival
- Date: April 2007
Walking with Robots, supported by network members from the University of Edinburgh, provided 5 days of robot fun at the Edinburgh International Science Festival 2007
