Engagement Workshop in Robotics, Animatronics and Artificial Intelligence
Are you a researcher in the fields of Robotics, Animatronics or Artificial Intelligence? Would you like to learn more about how to engage the public with your work? Or improve your presentation skills? Or gain practice at applying for funding? Or perhaps you are already involved in public engagement and would like to work with researchers in these fields?
Join us on February 18th -20th for a Public Engagement Workshop in Robotics, Animatronics and Artificial Intelligence. During this 3 day, EPSRC funded, course delegates will experience the lifecycle of a public engagement event. Equipped with a "props budget", participants will work with recognised experts to create an engaging activity. The course will conclude in a public event hosted by the At-Bristol science centre on Day 3.
The course is provided completely free; we will also reimburse all travel, and provide a drinks reception, 3 night's bed and breakfast in the Bristol IBIS hotel and a conference dinner. All we ask is that you agree to deliver the activity you develop at one of the UK science festivals over the coming year.
